Spring is a great time to jump on your bike and cycle to work, school or to do your shopping. Uttlesford’s new active cycling projects are here to help.
Bike Club
Rent a bike or e-bike for up to six months at subsidised rates to see if cycling is for you. Pay monthly with no deposit and stop at any time. We’ll deliver and collect the bikes at your home or work address.
App-Bike
Make the most of pedal power and sign-up to app-bike to get out and about and around the town. The system is easy to use.
E-cargo Bike
If you run a small business and want to deliver orders in the most sustainable way. Check out our new E-cargo bike, which is available to hire.
Dr Bike
Is your bike in need of some TLC? Our bike doctors will give it a free health check and make any minor repairs, such as brakes, gears, chain, tyres etc. Just pop down to one of our sessions for our mechanics to give it up to 30-minutes of support in their pop-up workshop.
Join a Bike Ride
Do you need to build your confidence on the roads? Are you worried about cycling with your children? Join a led bike ride – up to 12 people maximum, plus two instructors. Participants must bring a roadworthy bike, helmet and suitable clothing. Booking is essential.
