We’re honoured to speak at this year’s Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) B2B Marketing Conference at Norwich Cathedral Hostry on 27 April from 10am-4pm.
This year the business to business conference will discuss a wide range of subjects from GDPR to digital marketing. The CIM B2B Marketing conference, which is now in its third year, will focus on the unique challenges that are currently faced by B2B marketers. The conference will look at key issues effecting marketers when promoting their business and their brands to their target audiences.
Big Wave PR has been invited to discuss ‘PR for Business’ and to draw upon their campaign with D Day veterans and the Royal British Legion. This PR campaign has been shortlisted for a prestigious ‘CIM Excellence Award’.
Our MD, Hilary Collins, will be giving the speech and has also been directing the Royal British Legion campaign. She says: “It’s been an honour to work on this incredibly moving campaign for the Royal British Legion. I’m delighted our work has been recognised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Although the B2B world can be somewhat different to that of the third sector, the key elements for any PR campaign are similar. We always recommend a strong strategy, creative storytelling and seizing opportunities to create head-turning results.”
She added: “I’m really looking forward to discussing the role of PR with B2B marketers. I’m especially keen to demonstrate what a truly fantastic return on investment public relations can be, not only for sales figures but brand development too.”
